Dylan Torres is a mastering engineer based out of Los Angeles, CA. He is the owner of Loaded Mastering. With a passion for music that started at a very early age, Dylan has spent the past three decades honing his craft, shaping it, and dedicating his passion to quality control and serving the artist.

Mr. Torres has the honor and privilege of working for both labels and independent artists. Some past clients have included Scarlet Rivera, The Cult, Water Tower, Pistol Pete, Nick Hexum, Sebastian Bach, MB Gordy, Dan Ferguson, Jeannie Gayle Pool, Budapest Symphony Orchestra, Scott Ferguson, Joey Figgiani, Josh Puvogel, Disney, ABC, Appaloosa Records, Cambria Music, Brian “Hacksaw” Williams, Deon Nielsen Price, The Alien Brothers, Kevin Chalfant, Ejay Randolph, and Christopher Hazard.

Though he frequents working around town at other studios as well; his favorite local studio is 4th Street Recording in Santa Monica, CA. Dylan is known for being a skilled audio engineer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist with an impeccable ear. He is a Voting Member of The Recording Academy and votes for the Grammy Awards.

His formal education includes Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences and Musicians Institute, where he learned from some of the best in the business. He also has a prior background in Psychology. Dylan’s love for music spans all genres, but he has a soft spot for country, blues, and rock – the sounds that first inspired him to pick up an instrument.

Dylan can also be found working in film and television and has done quality control/mastering for over 4,000+ episodes and features. You’ve most likely heard his work exclusively on your favorite shows and movies for clients like Disney, Hulu, ABC, Crunchyroll, Amazon, CBS, Netflix, and more. He’s proud to have contributed his skills to hundreds of high-profile projects internationally and across the country from Los Angeles to Nashville to Phoenix to his hometown of Oglesby, IL.

Outside of the studio, Dylan enjoys cooking and the great outdoors. He can be found golfing, hiking, camping, fishing, geocaching, paint-balling, gardening, on road trips, and more.
