SHARENE BENTLEY

Early Childhood, Clarinet, Piano

Sharene Bentley began piano lessons at the age of five and has studied clarinet and voice. She was an active participant in IMEA choral events in high school and received the John Phillips Sousa Award for band.  

Sharlene received an Associate in Arts degree from IVCC where she performed in choir, madrigals and the wind ensemble. In addition to music, Ms. Bentley was enrolled in child care and education classes.  She was the music teacher at the Children’s Montessori School in Peru for many years.

Recently Sharlene received training for Music Together® in Chicago.  

Sharlene lives in Mendota with her husband and three children.
