TREY BARKER
Drums & Percussion
Trey’s first set of drumsticks were pencils. His first drum was a brown paper bag. From there, he moved on to wooden spoons and pots and pans until his mother bought him a real drum and sticks when he was 10 years old. He’s been playing ever since.
During his life, he’s played in award-winning high school marching and concert bands, college-level percussion ensembles and orchestras at Texas Tech University, and in professional and semi-professional symphony orchestras in Texas, Colorado, and Illinois. He also marched Drums Corps International, and spent thousands of hours behind a kit playing in numerous rock and jazz bands.
He has taught both marching and concert ensembles at Princeton High School, as well as his alma mater high school in Texas, and has taught the entire battery of percussion, from marching to concert, from hand to instrument to multi-percussion.
